How to get to Bibione?

Bibione is a sea side city, located in the province of Venezia, facing the Adriatic Sea and separated from the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia by the riverbed of Tagliamento.
It is easily reachable using public transport, such as trains or buses, and of course by car too.
Most hotels and apartments offer reserved parking places, some also in the garage, included in the price.
If you take the A4 Venezia-Trieste highway we suggest you:

  • coming from the west, to exit in Portogruaro (about 30 Km);
  • from the east, the exit of Latisana (about 20 Km) instead.

Some advice and info

By train

The railway connections between Venezia Santa Lucia and Trieste centrale stop by both Latisana and Portogruaro.
We can suggest either Latisana or Portogruaro since from both of them departure buses that will take you to the beloved sea side locality.
On the website of Trenitalia www.trenitalia.com, you can find costs and timetables for all destinations.

By bus

From the bus station of Venezia, San Donà di Piave, Treviso, Belluno, Udine departure many buses of the Atvo company that will take you all the way to Bibione in Piazza Maia, also known as the market's square, near the Luna Park.
On the website www.atvo.it are written all the information about time tables with the numerous line numbers and stops.

By plane

From the airports of Venezia Marco Polo or Treviso Antonio Canova there are several public services that will get you to the city of your last minute vacation.
There are buses of Atvo and the shuttle services that go directely to Bibione or to the closer railway station in order to take a train for Trieste and stop by Latisana. The distance of the airports from Bibione is more or less 90 Km.  
From the airport of Ronchi dei Legionari departure buses of the Saf company that go to Latisana, www.saf.ud.it. Or if you prefer, taking a bus to Monfalcone or Gorizia, you will find trains going to Latisana.

By boat

There is also the possibility to get to Bibione Pineda by boat, following the coordinate longitude 45° 38' 10" N - latitude 12°59' 83" E and arriving in the harbour of Baseleghe.
Along the several piers, you can just moor the boat and start your incredible last minute vacation in Bibione.
